Game RECAP

Tonight two teams took the field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum that, on paper, where evenly match and that is exactly how the game went.

It could have been predicted that it would come down to the last play tonight between the Tampa Bay Storm and Chicago Rush, and that it did.

In the fourth quarter the Storm defense held strong and forced a turnover with an interception by defensive lineman Tremaine Johnson. The Storm would then take a 49-42 lead with 4:28 remaining in the game on a Michael Lindsey touchdown grab. 

But Chicago would not go down quietly and drove the ball down the field to the one yard line with under a minute left...

LAST WEEK'S PERFORMANCE

The Tampa Bay Storm could not quite finish off its improbable fourth quarter comeback this past Saturday night in New Orleans as it dropped to 7-6 on the season with a 54-51 loss to the Voodoo.

After only managing to score 26 points through the first three quarters, Tampa Bay lit up the scoreboard with 25 fourth quarter points, but the deficit was just too much to overcome.

The Storm’s first half could not have really gone any worse. The first possession of the game saw Adrian McPherson throw an interception that led to a quick score for the Voodoo. Early in the second quarter McPherson threw another pick and New Orleans capitalized with a touchdown on the next play...
