GAME RECAP

The Tampa Bay Storm managed to secure a playoff berth Saturday night; however it was a bittersweet moment as the team came up short, losing to the Pittsburgh Power, 48-37, stretching its losing streak to six games.

The Storm offense could never get things going Saturday night as the defense stood tall and kept the Storm in it for the majority of the game.

LAST WEEK'S PERFORMANCE

Tonight the Tampa Bay Storm offense could never get on track and it all started with an unlucky bounce.

The Storm drove down the field on its first possession of the night, thanks to a great play by quarterback Randy Hippeard who found Joe Hills deep in San Antonio Talons territory.  

However, on the next play Hippeard targeted Hills again in the back of the endzone, but the ball deflected off of Hills’ hands and then ricocheted off of the field goal post landing in the hands of Talons defensive back Fred Shaw. San Antonio would go onto score after the interception...
