Orlando, FL – The Tampa Bay Storm (3-3, 1-3) was defeated by the Orlando Predators (4-2, 2-1) Saturday evening by a score of 77-65.  The game saw the return of former Storm ironman, T.T. Toliver.  This was also the 54th meeting between the two teams, with the Predators now holding a 28-26 advantage.

Game Notes

  • This was the 54th matchup between Orlando and Tampa.  The Predators lead the all-time series 28-26.
  • The 75 points scored by the Predators were the most points scored against the Storm this season.
  • The Storm is 1-15 all-time when an opponent scores 70+ points.  This was the second time the Predators have scored 70+ points against the Storm.
  • This was the first time the teams met at CFE Arena.  The Predators are now 1-0 against the Storm at the “New Jungle.”
  • Returning Storm WR T.T. Toliver made his presence known, reeling in his first touchdown of the season and finished the night with five touchdowns.

TAMPA BAY  --  Jason Boltus overcame an almost impossible task, but the first year Orlando quarterback, rallied the Predators (3-0) with two touchdowns in the last 50 seconds against Tampa Bay (2-1), the second with six seconds left on the clock to defeat the Storm, 56-52, in the 53rd edition of the “War on I-4” Saturday night in an Arena Football League game on the Amalie Motor Oil Field at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
