Orlando quarterback Randy Hippeard kept up his magic leading the Predators over his former team the Tampa Bay Storm, 69-62, in an Arena Football League game Saturday at the Amalie Arena. A season-high crowd of 15,835 looked on to another War on I-4 battle.
The win solidifies the Predators (9-6, 3-1) hold on first place in the American Conference South Division while the Storm (6-8, 2-2)
Hippeard, the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Game, finished with 346 yards on 24 of 33 and seven touchdowns. He came into the game with 76 percent completion rate and was 12 of 13 for 193 yards and four TDs in the first half alone.
T.T. Toliver led the Storm, grabbing 10 Jason Boltus passes for 174 yards and four touchdowns. Boltus, who play a year ago in Orlando, was 25-38 for 363 and six scores.
