2012 Tampa Bay Storm Cheerleaders Announced

Tampa Bay – The Tampa Bay Storm have selected its 2012 Cheerleader squad, announced director Kindra Ebanks.

“I am extremely excited to work with this season’s team,” said Ebanks. “We had a lot of talented girls audition this year and it made for a difficult selection process. However, we were able to select a group of girls that will not only make the team and fans proud but work hard in the community as well.”

The 2012 squad is comprised of 16 cheerleaders, with seven returning veterans, led by captains Stephanie and Tiffany. The oldest cheerleader is 25, the youngest is 20. The team includes two elementary school teachers, an activities coordinator for an elder care facility, two former Tampa Bay Lightning Ice Girls, five former South Florida Sun Dolls and two from the University of Tampa dance department.
