DB Roderick Jenrette Added to Roster, WR Michael Lindsey Activated From Injured Reserve

TAMPA BAY –Tampa Bay Storm has acquired defensive back Roderick Jenrette and activated wide receiver Michael Lindsey from injured reserve, announced vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch.

“We are excited to see Michael get back onto the field,” said Gooch. “Roderick is a big, physical defensive back and we really liked his size.”

Jenrette (6-foot-2, 210 lbs., Michigan State) is a local product out of Tampa, he prepped at Chamberlain H.S. Including a red-shirt season, he spent four years with the Spartans and played in 26 games prior to transferring to Fort Hays State his senior season. Jenrette had 35 tackles and two pass breakups in nine game his senior season.

Lindsey (6-1, 200, N.W. Mississippi) appeared seven games prior to a leg injury that saw him placed on injured reserve. He has 17 receptions for 163 yards and 562 return yards, including four games with 100 or more return yards. Lindsey is currently fourth on the team with 726 all-purpose yards.

The team also reassigned defensive lineman Richard Jones (6-1, 270, Texas Tech) and placed defensive back Erick McIntosh (5-10, 175, Florida Atlantic) on injured reserve. Jones appeared in 12 games and recorded 15.5 tackles, a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery. McIntosh, who will miss a minimum of four weeks with a lower body injury, played in all 14 games and currently leads the team in tackles (72.5) and pass breakups (21).
