TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired offensive lineman Bruce Doyle, announced Storm vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch.
“We’ve seen Bruce on film and he is a strong competitor that can make an impact on the offensive line,” said Gooch. “He is an offensive tackle that has upside and we look forward to him coming in and showing us what he has.”
Doyle (6-foot-4, 305 lbs., Brockport (NY)) begins his professional career in the Arena Football League with the Storm.
The Cuba, NY native played collegiately for The College at Brockport, appearing in 33 games for the Golden Eagles. Widely considered one of the top offensive lineman in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, Doyle earned All-NJAC First Team honors in his senior season (2013), helping lead his team to an 8-3 record.
