TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm will host “Local Beats and Eats Night,” presented by Chase on Saturday, July 1 at AMALIE Arena. The night will be a special celebration of local music and food, with appearances by several musicians and a food truck rally. The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m., and will be topped off when the Storm take on the Washington Valor at 7:00 p.m.
In celebration of Tampa’s local music, all fans in attendance will be able to catch live performances throughout the night from various local music acts including: acoustic soloist, Josh Carrol, Serotonic, and other special guest performances.
For the foodies, the Tampa Bay Storm and Chase will be celebrating Tampa’s most tasty of small businesses with a Food Truck Rally open to the public from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. As part of this occasion, the Storm is pleased to offer a special ticket package that includes a ticket to the game and a sampling from six local food trucks including:
Each food truck will prepare a dish tied to local flavor and flair. Fans who take advantage of this ticket offer will be able to vote for the top food item, helping name the “Chase for Business” winner. The winning truck will be presented with a $3,000 check on behalf of Chase during the game later that night. Ticket packages start at $35.
Also, in conjunction with Big Storm Brewing Co. and Uncle John’s Pride, the Storm is offering ticket packages that include a pre-game local craft beer and sausage tasting. This event will take place inside AMALIE Arena from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at just $30 and will include a ticket to the game, access to the pre-game beer and sausage tasting, and a free Storm hat.
As part of their involvement in this great ticket package, Uncle John’s Pride will also have their food truck on the plaza from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Ford Thunder Alley. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Metropolitan Ministries and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
