TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Storm is proud to announce that defensive end Frank Mays has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for Frank and we are proud that he is taking this next step in his professional career,” said Storm Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch. “Mays has the ability to alter a game with his size and we know he will make an impact in Philadelphia.”
Mays (6-foot-9, 295 lbs., Florida A&M) was in his rookie season with the Storm. The former Florida A&M Rattler played in three games for the Storm this season and recorded 5.5 tackles, a sack and a blocked kick. He began his professional career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014 when he was a member of the team’s training camp.
Prior to turning pro, Mays played at Central Lakes College (MN) before transferring to Florida A&M for his junior and senior seasons.
