Edwards spent 2009 with the Toronto Argonauts (CFL)…he played in two games and had two receptions for 17 yards with a long completion of 13 yards.
Edwards played at Texas Southern University… His senior year he led the Tigers with 679 receiving yards, 41 receptions and three touchdown receptions… He ranked eighth in the Southwestern Conference in receptions per game and receiving yards per game … Edwards finished his collegiate career with 80 receptions for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns.
Spends the offseason coaching at his high school alma mater Hollywood HS (Hollywood, FL)… Played quarterback in high school… Most memorable moment was his first professional reception; it went for a 28 yard touchdown against the New Orleans VooDoo… Recently became an uncle.
